Thulite: What is it and what is it good for?

Thulite is a new stone in my arsenal but what type of stone is it and what is it good for?

I’ve learned that Thulite, also known as Roseline Zoisite, is a mostly manganese type of zoisite. Manganese is what gives it that pretty pink color. It is mostly found in Norway but pockets have been found in New Zealand, Austrian Tyrol, North Carolina and Washington! Yes, in the US!

So what is it good for you ask? Well, in looking through the internet it seems that it is a Heart and 3rd Eye Chakra stone. Fire Mountain Gems website says that it is “known as a stone of expression and passion, giving people the confidence to speak and perform in front of others. A great choice for introverts, this stone can increase self-confidence and make us more outgoing.”

When I sit and hold this stone it gives me the feeling that it actually connects the Heart Chakra to the 3rd Eye Chakra through the Throat Chakra. What does that mean you ask? Well, this stone will help you to speak and see through your heart. This stone seems to calm your heart and body so that you can sense, using your 3rd eye, the heart of others so you can speak to them with a caring frame of mind. This stone would be really good for those who are care givers, in the medical field when working with patients, Reiki Masters who work with families of loved ones who are passing away or helping someone to pass away. I feel that it has a gentle confidence to help those stepping into a new job such as a grade school teacher or a teacher for special needs kids. It’s also a good stone for Psychics since they are essentially using the 3 chakras (along with the Crown Chakra) to give messages. I feel that it calms and relaxes the body enough to help us connect with our spirituality whether you believe in God or any other entity. It does not feel like a high energy stone in the sense that it gets us up and moving or gives us energy to get up and moving. It does help us to have confidence in a very calming sort of way.

One thing to always remember… Always Always go by how the stone makes you feel. If you pick up a stone and you don’t get what you’ve read on the internet then you go by how it makes YOU feel, not what others tell you how it should make you feel.

I have had some people pick up a Rose Quartz and it does absolutely nothing for them but then they pick up a piece of Pink Calcite and they love how it makes them feel. It’s all in how the energy of our bodies connect with the energy of the stone. Maybe that person’s energy has already had enough of the Rose Quartz energy but the Pink Calcite has a different frequency or vibration and it makes them feel good.

All in all, this is a good stone to have around if you need that calm confidence push. My husband bought me this for my birthday plus several smaller stones. I think I’ll have him make some pendants out of this and wear it! It’s quite beautiful.

Thank you for checking in and reading along.

Azurite ~ The Stone of Clear Voice & Thought

Azurite

Azurite

Isn’t this stone gorgeous!?!  I love it’s deep sea blue.

The picture below shows how it is commonly found.  It’s mix of Malachite, the dark green color, then the swirls of deep sea blue, the Azurite, and then the light blueish turquoise color, the Chrysocolla, is simply beautiful!

Azurite-Malachite-Chrysocolla

What is Azurite?
It’s is a copper based stone often found in copper mines.  We should have tons of that here in Arizona since we have copper mines galore!  Hmmm… I’ll have to look into that.  🙂

So, you may be asking yourself… What can Azurite help me with?
Well let me tell ya… it is great for activating your third eye chakra!  It also helps to develop some psychic abilities such as Clairaudiance, which is hearing spirit, Clairvoyance, which is seeing spirit, and good ol’ Intuition.  It works well with your third eye chakra and your throat chakra because of it’s deep blue color.  Remember, the throat chakra is associated with the color blue and the third eye is associated with the color indigo.  This stone falls in between the two.  This stone will also help develop a closer relationship with the Divine/Universe/God/your High Self because of the communication through the throat chakra.  Anytime you develop a stronger connection with the Divine, your crown chakra is activating so this stone will help with the crown chakra as well.  This stone, overall, will help you develop and keep the higher chakras balanced.

That’s great, but what about healing and just overall wellbeing?  Can it help with my body functioning better?
Yes!  This stone is great for learning and brain function.  It helps to stimulate those synapses in the brain so you can remember things for tests and stuff.  It also keeps you focused and have a clear mind.  For example:  I had to present some information to a room full of people and I had been feeling kind of sluggish and not being able to focus very well.  Needless to say I… was… nervous!  So I had worn my Azurite to work that day.  I also added a Carnelian for courage and Sugalite for love and compassion.  I felt pretty good that morning and my mind was clear and focused!  I was actually quite surprised at how well I felt.  So I got up in front of all these people and gave my presentation without a hitch!  It was Awesome!  Because Azurite is deep blue it resonates with your throat chakra which helps you to speak clearly.  It also works with the brain to have clear thoughts and those synapses were firing in the right spots so I was doing very well.

*DISCLAIMER TIME*
Not everyone has the same experiences with stones so if the stone doesn’t feel right for you it’s best to let it go and move on to another.  Don’t get discouraged… that particular stone just wasn’t meant for you.  Plenty of stones on Mother Earth!  🙂

Ok!  What else does this stone have to offer?
It’s great for helping you meditate because of what it does to your brain.  Remember what I mentioned up above?  If your brain is able to focus you don’t have all these other thoughts fighting for your attention so you are better able to focus on meditating.  This stone also helps you to relax and go deeper into meditation.  It helps you communicate with your guides and retain what you have discussed with them.  Anytime you can focus without those nagging thoughts we all have you can focus on yourself better and allow yourself to do more inner work.

Pick a Card – 4-23-17 ~ Reveal at the Bottom

Pick a Card 4-23-17

Pick a Card!

I will reveal the cards later tonight.

The Reveal is in!

Pick a Card Reveal 4-23-17

Left Card:  Throat Chakra
“I speak my truth and encourage others to speak theirs”
The Throat Chakra is linked to sound, communication, and self-expression.  Its name is Vishuddha and means ‘purification’.  The color associated with it is blue and it is situated at the center base of the neck.  This card is a reminder to engage your heart and mind before speaking.  Your words have great power over your own life as well as the lives of others.

Middle Card:  Sun Goddess
“I celebrate each sunrise and recognize the healing energies of the sun.”
Since the beginning of time, the sun has shone its vibrant, life-giving energy on the Earth.  Acknowledge the vital part the sun plays in the Universe.  Greet the sun with gratitude each morning and give thanks for its warmth and energy.  If you spend most of your day indoors, start putting aside time daily to sit or walk in the sunlight making sure you protect from the harsher rays of the sun.

Right Card:  Crystal Ascension
“I am attuned to the universal wisdom and energy of the crystal kingdom.”
You are being asked to bring crystals and minerals into your personal environment.  Your current environment contains too much artificial energy from material possessions, cell phones, computers and microwaves which causes an imbalance in both your body’s energy field as well as the energy within and around your home and work-space.  Crystals contain the earth’s natural energy fields as well as stored wisdom, which they have accumulated through the centuries of being on this planet.  Intuitively select one or more crystals to carry with you or wear at all times and others to place around your home and work-space.

If you would like please share any comments on your results!  🙂

Brightest Blessings,

Day 3
Crystals & Stones

Our Throat Chakra is our Communication Center. It is the hub of communication between our mind and body so let’s find some crystals and stones to help keep this hub healthy. If this chakra is not healthy, our mind and body have a hard time communicating and the lower chakras will not be able to release information in the forms of creativity, needs, emotions, and expressing love.

With all that’s going on…

1476391_770879766258876_1402654620_nI feel the need to talk about Chakras.  During this time of awakening, we are in need of healing our inner-selves.  To do that, we need to know a bit about our Chakra system.  The picture I’ve inserted is one you’ve probably seen before.  It’s a great starting point.  These 7 chakras are energy points within our bodies that allow for good energy flow.  If any of these are blocked then we can experience illness.  The 7 chakras (moving bottom to top) are as follows:

  1. Root Chakra – Color is Red.  Located at the base of the spine and is what makes us feel grounded, it’s about survival, and it relates us to the material and physical world.  It also gives us the ability to stand up for one’s self if it is in a healthy state.  It is our feeling of “the right to exist”.

  2. Sacral Chakra – Color is Orange.  Located in the lower abdomen about 2 inches below the naval.  It’s connected to issues related to feelings, socializing, and intimacy.  It is our feeling of “the right to feel”.

  3. Solar Plexus Chakra – Color is Yellow.  Located in the upper abdomen in the stomach area.  This is our personal power – to feel confident and in control of our lives, to have self worth and self esteem.  This also is the balance of intellect and ego power.  It’s our feeling of “the right to be”.

  4. Heart Chakra – Color is Green.  Located in the center of the chest above the heart.  Relationships – the right to love.  Love, forgiveness, compassion, and the ability to accept self.  It is our feeling of “the right to love”.

  5. Throat Chakra – Color is Blue.  Located in the throat.  Communication – The right to speak.  Express yourself, trust, loyalty, organization, and planning.  It is our feeling of “the right to speak”.

  6. Third Eye Chakra – Color is Indigo.  Located between the eyes.  Intuition – the right to see.  Trusting in one’s intuition and insights.  Developing one’s psychic abilities.  Self-realization.   It is our feeling of “the right to see”.

  7. Crown Chakra – Color is Violet.  Located at the top of your head.  Knowingness – our ability to be fully connected spiritually.  Inner and outer beauty, peace, and pure bliss.  It is our feeling of “the right to know”

These are not the only Chakras we have in our systems but these are the largest and most common.  In the next several posts I will go into more depth on each Chakra listing stones that are good to use with them, what part of the body each Chakra directly affects, and many other things that will help us through healing our inner-selves.

Brightest Blessings,
Carol
