Our Solar Plexus is the center of our personal power (our “will”)… our courage and our honor so we want to wear stones that will enhance these qualities. We also want to use crystals and stones to help us with our self-esteem, the energy governing manifestation, our creativity and the feeling of being centered.

Because this chakra resonates with the color yellow, we want to find stones that also resonate with this color. Those colors are yellow, of course, a golden color and also yellowish green stones.

The psychic ability seated within this chakra is clairsentience (clear-seeing and clear-feeling). It is also sensed within the sacral chakra but the solar plexus is where it is felt more strongly.

Below, I’ve listed some stones and what they can help with in regard to the solar plexus. These are by no means the only stones to use but they are a good start!

Kyanite: Brings all chakras into alignment
This stone is highly suggested to be used before using any of the crystals associated with the solar plexus. This stone is most commonly blue and is easily found but, any color of this stone will work well. It is a powerful healing stone and it does not accumulate negative vibrations nor does it need cleansing because it pushes away the negative vibrations. This stone aids in the general flow of energy throughout the body.

Peridot (aka Olivine): Manifestation stone
This stone is lime green in color and is used to raise you energy’s frequency to increase your manifestation ability. Raising the increase energy frequency in you solar plexus will help clear your mind so that you are able to manifest wonderful things into your life. It boosts your personal power giving you more confidence and assertiveness balanced by patience and clarity.

Citrine: Manifestation stone
This stone is known as a premiere manifestation stone. It is a quartz and is strong in amplifying energy. It soothes fear and anxiety which opens you up for accepting good into your life. Holding this stone while doing your daily affirmations will help manifest these feelings, thoughts, and things into your life. This stone is closely related to Amethyst and some are also heat treated Amethyst so when you buy them make sure they are not heat treated. They are very popular stones so they are easy to find and not overly expensive.

Amblygonite: Enhances Creativity, Releases Stress
This stone helps to release emotional issues from past experiences helping you to let go of the past. It contains high amounts of lithium so it helps to release stress and worry and brings calmness and peace of mind. The lithium contained in this stone also helps in meditation and breaks blockages of energy flow. This is a very good stone to have but it is not a common stone so it will probably be expensive.

Yellow Apatite: Enhances Manifestation
This stone enhances manifestation, promotes prosperity, strengthens your willpower and helps you to become more assertive and confident. It helps in strengthening mental clarity and your digestive system. Within the digestive system we not only digest food, we also digest (or think upon) new ideas that are being introduced into our bodies. This stone is sometimes confused with Golden Apatite or even Green Apatite but are actually quite different metaphysically. This stone is common but may be a little expensive.

Many of these stones can be used together and learning about each stone will help you with what combinations work best for you.

How to pick stones that will work best for you is actually quite simple. When you shop for stones you need to trust your intuition… plain and simple. If you pick up a stone and you get a strong feeling either good or bad, you really need to trust that feeling. If you were to buy a stone that really doesn’t feel right it could actually cause you harm. Yes, you can cleanse stones but it’s better to go with stones that feel right to you instead.

Purchasing stones online makes this more difficult because you’re not always getting the stone you see in the picture. So if you have to purchase online seek a reputable seller and try to buy in bulk that way you have a variety of choices.

Money can be an issue when buying in bulk. So what I suggest is to leave the negative thoughts about money behind. Negative money thoughts will only make things more difficult for you. So give this a try… focus on what you want… build up your energy with that focus all the while putting love and light into the energy… now once you have built what you feel is enough energy… release it into the universe with confidence and a smile that it is going to come to you. Do this as much as you can… maybe every day for a week… constantly putting that positive energy on what you want.
